Fundamentation

Desirable worlds is a play created by Lucia Viera, a circus artist from Argentina.
Based on both the language of Clown and of Physical Theater.
Set with a vintage aesthetic proposal of the classic circus and of the woman of the 1920s where the aesthetic sense takes a turn, to give the female role an air of freedom different from the one she had been having.
In this play Circus, Theater, Clumsiness, Humor and Music make up such a narrative that it can take place both in a theater and in outdoor spaces.
The play has had more than 400 presentations in halls, festivals, amphitheaters, schools and non-conventional spaces. It combines the spectacularity of the circus without neglecting depth in the story or solidity in the character, who throughout the many challenges she faces can show us the transformation she undergoes. It is a story with smaller stories inside, each capable of capturing an ephemeral audience, like that of people who walk the Street. But at the same time they all conform a single narrative.
Lulu Marlen (the character/clown) is a hero in disguise. She will fail time and time again wrapped in her clumsiness. But as the story unfolds, her tenacity and perseverance will lead her to accomplish her dream.
A coming and going of skills and anti-skills will accompany her on this journey. In which the whole family can have fun, get involved and identify with failure and success.
